The reason for the question marks is we're not sure yet where we stay tonight. We bought our passes this morning at the local government house so we could visit the famous falls on the VN Chinese border.
It's a 90 kilometer trip up over the 500 metre pass and back down through beautiful countryside to the border area.
The waterfalls were impressive. The falls on the left are from a Vietnamese river, those on the right from a Chinese. Vietnam is on the left of the larger falls, China on the right.
And here's a shot of our party at the falls.
Bloggeroid choked so I deleted the last photo hoping that makes the post more digestible. I know there is a data limit guess I'll have to experiment to find it. Plus the group photo was taken with a regular camera set on higher resolution so that might be part of the problem.
